5 Things to do During Winters in London

London is a melting pot of culture and art and it is definitely one of the places that you should visit before you kick the bucket. Airline ticket prices are, fortunately, cheaper than what they used to be making it cheaper to plan a trip to UK’s capital.

If you are going to be in the capital during the winter, there are certain activities that you wouldn’t dream of missing whether you are in London for business or pleasure. If, for instance, you have some business in Ireland, you can catch one of those Flights London Dublin. Even if you have a busy schedule, you can still catch a quick flight to many European countries and be back to enjoy the winter festivities. While in London be sure to check out the following activities:

London’s New Year’s Day Parade

Taking place on the first day of the year on the streets of London’s West End, this is the biggest parade of its kind anywhere in the world. This parade also features thousands of performers not only from the UK but from all over the world.

London International Boat Show

Taking place in January, this is the perfect venue to see thousands of boats and to learn more about them. Brands and products are on show at this time of the year and you get to see everything you need before you get aboard a boat.

Chinese New Year

London happens to host the largest celebration of the Chinese New Year outside of Asia making the festivities worth looking forward to. London’s Chinatown is awash with color and entertainment in celebration of this event.

Accession Day, Royal Gun Salute

Grimaldi Memorial Service

In memory of the Georgian gagster who was deemed to be the inventor of the modern day clown, the first Sunday of February is dubbed as the Clown’s Church service at the Holy Trinity Church at Dalston. Around 60 clowns, jesters and harlequins in their costumes attend the service which is followed by a clown show at the church hall.

If the activities in London leave you with so much free time, you can use that time to explore the museums and the parks which are in abundance in the city. If you are longing for more festivals, you can catch one of those Flights London Edinburgh and enjoy at least one of Scotland’s fire festivals which takes place during winters.
