Completed in 2007, the O2 Arena which lies in the middle of a huge entertainment district on South East London’s Greenwich Peninsula, is one of the busiest music arenas in the World. In June and July 2013, Canadian hit maker Michael Bublé performed a series of shows in the arena, for those who missed his shows or who just can't get enough of him; it would be awesome to buy official Michael Bublé tour tickets online for his upcoming shows in 2014. UK stopovers for the 2014 concert tour of this outstanding artist behind the popular songs “Haven't Met You Yet”, “It's a Beautiful Day” and “Sway” will be in Manchester's Phone 4 U Arena, The Hydro in Glasgow and NIA Birmingham.
All venues are quite prominent not just in the UK but in Europe as a whole. Manchester’s Phone 4 U Arena is Europe’s largest indoor arena. Glasgow is host to both local and international stars while NIA or National Indoor Arena is also one of the continent’s busiest entertainment venues. But, no one can deny that out of all four, the O2 arena grabbed the spotlight due to the number of events held here each year. When you are on a trip to London, it would be great to catch some shows in this arena especially in December. Popular artists hold concerts here during their UK stopover and for people who are planning to experience the O2 arena for themselves, here’s some of the upcoming events:
December 4. If you are a fan of hip hop soul, listening to Ashanti in the arena would be a great way to experience the O2. This singer who is popular for her lyric soprano is known for her Top Billboard Songs “Always on Time”, “Foolish” and “What’s Luv”. For those who are looking for a bit of R&B without missing a bit, this is a great opportunity to do just that.
December 5. The songwriter and multi-platinum producer will.i.am will also take the O2 arena stage. This talented artist is the front man of the popular band Black Eyed Peas and he bagged several awards including an Emmy and a Grammy’s. Conor Maynard will act as his support.
December 7-8. The Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball is also another event which is worth looking forward to with a wide array of presentations from a number of artists. The line-up includes Tinie Tempah, Katie Perry, Olly Murrs, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks, Lady Gaga, Jessie J, Jason Derulo and so much more.
December 11. The Greatest Hit Tours of Glasgow lads Wet Wet Wet will also have a stopover in the O2. With a fame which lasted for almost 30 years, the group has a lethal combination of songs including their top hits Goodnight Girl, Love Is All Around and With A Little Help from My Friends.
December 26. To cap off the December events in the arena, there’s Disney on Ice. If there are great performances with international artists, there is also an event which is perfect for all ages. Mickey and his friends will be in another instalment of ice shows. The new production kicks off from New Orleans with Tiana who meets the frog prince then it continues to a kingdom where Cinderella is off to search for true love and finally tangles with Rapunzel’s quest beyond her tower. The finale brings all Disney princesses on ice.
These are just some of the events hosted in this music event. Indeed, there are many things to look forward to when you are in London and it is definitely unquestionable why this city is one of the musical centers in the continent.
